About Us

Who we are

New Africa Book Publishers

.

New Africa Book Publishers is a publishing company which aims to promote the voice of African writers, both young and new. We set for ourselves the target of sourcing the best creative minds in the land of Africa and showcasing them to the rest of the world.

We believe in the principle of living by talent, which means that a writer can live solely on their creative works. NABP is here to bring that into fulfilment, beginning with Nigeria, and extending to other parts of the African continent.

As a published author, the Chairman/Chief Publisher has had a first-hand experience on the horrible plights of authors in Nigeria. This affected him so much that he made a resolution not to publish any book under Nigerian imprints.

This, however, changed when he realized that there is still hope for creatives in the Nigerian sector. He made a resolution ever since to put a smile on writers’ faces.

Despite the population of the country (over 200 million people), NABP believes that selling a minimum of 200 copies should not be a problem. Nigeria is filled with many active, smart, educated, and young minds who should be largely inculcated with the reading culture.

NABP, therefore, has tasked herself with the distribution of these books to the vast majority, and we would celebrate the sales of each 1,000,000th copy of our publications with a launch with the buyers and authors of each titles.

NABP is not searching for established authors. Our primary focus, rather, is on the green horns; the starters who want to try their luck as writers.
We believe in God because He is the author of our success, and through him and the help of other good patrons, we know we shall succeed
