Too long a night is a gripping fiction about injustice. Divided into three parts; The warning, The warning Light and The Eclipse. Too Long a Night tells the story of Amusan’s homecoming and the forceful seizure of his father’s lands, an act of flagrant injustice which the town’s elders support. It is the attempt to rectify the injustice against the young man that creates the intrigues in Too long a night and leads to the unraveling the ambiguous role of the dreaded Ogboni cult in the dispensation of justice in parts of Africa. The novel is an expedition into African cultural values and the Yoruba world-view.
